I've been coming here for years, it's great to bring out of town guests for the ghost tour, and one of the few places where you can order drinks and smoke cigars This weekend they let us throw my 50th birthday there and it could not have been more fun. Every person there was incredibly friendly and accommodating, the serving staff was incredibly fun, happy to take care of us, and they were so nice about cleaning up even the stuff that we came in with. Shaker's has always been a fun spot for small groups, but it's my new favorite spot for parties and events. Next up - the rooftop!

I really enjoyed visiting Shaker's Bar and doing the Ghost Tour with Elizabeth yesterday!! Elizabeth was an awesome tour guide, she's great at telling stories. The building is really cool, it definitely has a creepy vibe. I've done many ghost tours... but this one genuinely put me on edge. (The basement especially spooked me out). So if you're looking for something scary, this is it. After the tour, I sat at the bar and had a few drinks- they have a great selection of alcohol and food to choose from. My bartender, Allie was super super nice. The owner of Shaker's, Bob was there too! He was also very nice and friendly. We got to talk more about the building and the business. I had a really good time here and would definitely recommend it!!

Whenever I go on a little trip, I seek out ghost tours. How did I miss this gem?! Miranda, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable. The history, the personal stories, the vibes, all of it was amazing. We definitely will be back for the 2.0 and Dahmer tours. The wait staff were also inviting and super hospitable. My Brandy Old Fashion was perfect.

Sara was a friendly and wonderful server with a fun personality. Kirsten gave an amazing and informative ghost tour and had such an authentic and amazing vibe. Highly recommend this place and will be back 10/10!!!! Make sure to have Kirsten do your tour!

I spent my evening here, I went on 2 tours - the Cream City Cannibal with Miranda and the ghost tour 2.0 with Elizabeth . Both were very informative and packed with information. I was the only person for the Cream City Cannibal tour that day and they still did the tour (most companies cancel so that was refreshing ) . When you’re inside the bar is beautiful, filled with Tiffany lamps. The cigar selection is nice and reasonably priced . The drinks were very good as well. I got my tarot cards read. I also met the owner Bob, who has alot of great stories about the venue . If you’re into historic bars with some spooky history definitely check it out .

It's a cigar bar, so smokey. But boy the history. The prices are a bit high, but we had fun talking with the people, even took the ghost tour, just added to the whole vibe. Didn't know they offered food, but what I saw, it looked fantastic if you do the tour, see if Jennifer is there. She really gets into it. And Stephanie was a great waitress, always right there.

My date and I took a 2.0 tour with Elizabeth yesterday night. We were the only two people who sign up for the tour that night (and it was our first date night), so we thought it would be a little awkward being so 1 on 1 with the tour guide, but she was very welcoming, friendly, approachable, and made the night fun and informative. 10/10 would do the tour again. I have been on the normal day tours through shakers a few times before and its always a blast to relive the past while trying to have that paranormal experience. My date is now also a firm believer of dowsing rods after she let him try them for himself in the basement. So if you want to convert a non believer, just bring them on a 2.0 tour, and take LOTS of pictures... some of my pictures where i was standing still just taking multiple shots in a row turned out fully blurry looking in one shot in each set of photos i took in the "A" girl room and in the basement. I took probably 10 pics of each area, and only 9 of them would be crystal clear.

This is a great bar. Really friendly staff and such an atmospheric bar. As soon as we walked in the staff were amazing. Michaela looked after us so well and told us lots of history about the bar. Bob was also amazing and took time to chat to us. If I was to visit Milwaukee again I’d definitely go here and recommend it to anyone else. Great cocktails & beers! Thanks for making us so welcome!
